What’s the best way to let charities and nonprofits know you want to donate your services ?
Our firm is trying to donate the development of an iphone app to a charity /nonprofit. No on seems interested about our offer. Why ? What is the best way to get the word out ?
I recently read your post and felt the need to respond. My company is in a similar position…..I would be interested in who you have approached and how? I am with a Business Services company that works with technology clients. We have put together a program where we take a portion of our revenue and use it to fund entrepreneurial programs and education at the Jr. High and High school level. What I have found after I dug a bit deeper is that it is not that these organizations are not interested, but are in the position of limited staff to dedicate the time it takes to the many inbound inquiries that they receive.
The good news is that there are still many charitable people/organizations willing to give back.
The bad news is that with limited staff, the charity organizations appear to be uninterested (which is not always the case)
